Wow, I did not know about their safety problems.
I read the new ones (1998 on) are different and quite safe.
Though I must admit, I think of the new VW bugs as more of a girlie car.

V, they're just cheap cars!! Norm is nervous about any vehicle that has the trunk up-front and engine in the rear!!

orm thinks being stoned might help, Diane. Until one couldn't drive-up San Fran's steep hills from the lack of engine power. (It's true!!)
Norm thinks Pru must be a knock-out to have a fugly car make her look cute!!
