Blue Heron
Norm managed to photograph this fellow as he hunted for his dinner. Blue Heron's are rare and on the endangered list. Norm thinks this fellow must be on the young side, as he seemed under three feet in height.
I never really appreciated birds and just nature in general until I moved to Tennessee. Now I love to see a beautiful bird just going about his business. That's a nice shot.
Great shot, Norm. I have a hobby too...I have the world's largest collection of sea shells. I keep it scattered on beaches all over the world. Maybe you've seen some of it...

Another great pic. You're quite handy inside and outside the home. I am jealous.

Norm really appreciates the compliment, V!
Thanks LA. Norm wishes he could have got just a little closer.

Norm, why does the blue heron fly?
Norm's a country boy that loves the birds, too!
Norm thinks Pelegrim needs to take better care of his collection!!
Norm thinks to get to the other side of the pond?! What up, Kookia?
Your blog is like a cool breeze on a sunny day. Takes my mind off of work and makes me remember the simple pleasures of life.
Norm wants Kookla to keep cool!!
