Summer of 08 #4
Norm's very thin postings are a direct result of a rather long, shitty project here at the shack. It's still not fully completed, and with colder weather approaching, and many other important issues at hand, Norm has been between a rock and a wet place. It all began in late July, when Norm pulled a piece of styrofoam insulation out of his ceiling. This was prompted by quiet crunching noises. Expecting a mouse he was greeted by hundreds of carpenter ants!! A rain of ants, only to follow with weeks of buckets to catch water.

Well Norm, as you well know, Carpenter ants are the second worst pests for older homes, the first being the Vila ants of course.
Yikes!
I'm never going to sleep tonight, imagining hundreds of ants falling from the ceiling. Good luck with the repair!
Hope you got the ceiling fixed before the snow starts falling!
Your postings indeed are getting thin. I hope things are all peachy on your side.
