Norm's World #8
So spring was a little late for us New Englanders. Norm and his neighbors weathered almost two feet of rain in the last two months. Fortunately for most of this region, it's so hilly and rocky, the water moves away quickly. But perhaps the most phenomenal aspect is the supercharged plants and animals. Many of Norm's bushes have produced flowers. The water has sent them over the edge. And there is like four robins competing for Norm's yard. Worms beware!!

Somehow I find your blog zen-like calming and soothing.
Norm is trying to be calming and soothing. So many thanks.
Fantastic shot, Norm! I'm quite impressed!
Do you talk like those guys in the Pepperidge Farm commercials? My geography is a little shaky (like my math), but that's New England right?
Many thanks, LA. Norm snaps a good one now and then.
Unfortunately, Norm does talk like the guy in the Pepperidge Farms commercial. (You're on the money, Kookla.)
Norm has observed a larger than normal amount of robins this year. They like nesting at Norm's place, as he has no cats, (Norm loves cats, he ust doesn't have one!!) and much mowed lawn which they love. (Norm loves robins too!!)
The bloom is a rhododendron. Norm is not sure of the species, Ffleur. The previous owners cared little for estate upkeep, but put many plants and flowers all over the place.
Very nice, do you plant veggies Norm?

No, Norm doesn't do any gardening, Joy. All the flowers and stuff were already here at the house when Norm moved in.
Norm, don't you have any pics of some concrete or billboards?
Pelegrim, maybe when Norm is in your neck of the woods, you could show him the sights!!
Indubitably, Norm.
