Lovely! And those are my favorite flowering bushes. They are so gorgeous this time of year. Recently I saw on TV the hummingbird has a nest about the size of a toonie which means the eggs are the size of raisonettes.Very cute indeed.
Fantastic photo, Norm. My grandfather has hummingbird feeders around his house and some nights in the summer he gets a bunch of them coming by. When more than about 10 start to show up, his cat gets freaked out by the noise.
A stellar photograph Norm! Um, what kind of bee is that? Are the bees in New England a bit different from the ones on the West Coast?
Ffleur, they're so super small cool. Norm is a nature nut.Mish, it's so wild how much noise they make. This photo shows how super close Norm got.V, it's actually a bird. Norm suggests you wiki: hummingbird.
Just like V, I, too, thought this was a bee at first. What an amazing shot!
pardon my french, but that is an un-freakin-believable photograph
Wow. Must be the shot. Looks kinda 'insecty' to me, lol. I guess that threw me off. Anyway, great shot Norm!
Norm can understand, LA! It looks like a bee.Diane it was surreal. Norm has never actually stood within a foot of a hummingbird. There was two, and they were in flower heaven.V, not a problem. Norm gets thrown-off all the time.Pru, the flowers on Norm's property are pretty and came with the place.
Thanks Norm! And once again, incredible photo!
