Would You Drive it? #6

Norm is thinking most of you would, if you could afford it. Well, that's Norm's position at least. One can get a tax break on buying a new one, but it will still approach 20K in cost. They get about 55 mpg, and are quite nice looking. Well done, Toyota!!

A co-worker has this car and she raves about it! I drive it in a heart-beat!

I think it's funky looking.

Ayup, I am a big Prius fan!

The inside is actually quite spacey and very comfortable. The only drawback is that the trunk is rather small when compared to a mid-size sedan.

But ya can't beat 55 mpg! 55 mpg people!

I'm seriously thinking about getting one. Like v says, they are surprisingly roomy inside, and I read that the 2008 model will be priced a bit cheaper!

I would drive it. I need to get a couple more years out of my current ride before I can go car shopping though. Maybe the Prius will be more affordable by then.

Right now for me, it's either a condo or a car. Since I rarely drive, I'm going to buy the condo first. But after that, you betcha. I've actually only owned Toyotas, three in total, driven from brand new to the bitter end.

I have some friends who are a 2-Prius family. Another friend is very happy with her new Highlander Hybrid.

Just like housing, gas is more expensive here than in other parts of the country. And 99 percent of my driving is city, so it would be foolish of me not to buy a hybrid next time around.

Like LA, I am going the condo route. Yes, I'd have that car in a heartbeat (go Toyota!)but $20k a little pricy for my blood

*sigh* I'm sticking with the 16 year old Tercel which has more health problems than an 80 year old human!

Mish, it owuld seem every owner loves this car. Norm's friends have one and really think it's great.

Norm loves that 55 mpg, V!

Diane, that would rock!! Norm would want a review!!

Dan that makes sense. Norm is in the same situation.

LA, Toyota makes a great car. Norm likes them all.

Pru, you're so hot, you could power the car yourself. And with Norm by your side, it becomes a rocket.

Ffleur, don't fret. Norm's current car could legally purchase beer.
